Summary
Great figures arise from crucibles of cruel design. When the Blight forces long-disgraced Leandra Amell and her children to emigrate back to Kirkwall, her eldest paves their future with mayhem and reports of apostate behaviors amongst the mercenary circles. Someone that unhinged would crawl under Bartrand’s skin and was precisely the type of person Varric intended to use. Or, at least, that was the plan.

Summary
Garrett Hawke would have done anything to keep his sister and mother safe upon reaching Kirkwall. He’d failed Carver, and that guilt haunted him every night when he dreamed, the ogre crushing his brother’s chest like so much wet parchment.
So when their Uncle had revealed that not only was the family destitute, the estate long lost, and that their only way into the city was through indentured servitude? He’d have taken anything that kept Bethany away from the Templars.
But of the options Gamlen had managed to orchestrate, he’d clearly assumed Bethany would be the one who’d take up a position at the Blooming Rose.
An AU where Hawke spends his first year at the Rose, and sleeps with everyone he knows - even after the year is up.

Summary
“Maker’s breath, Hawke, what are you doing here?”
In Ferelden, Hawke helped save the world from the Blight. In Kirkwall, he is an apostate struggling to hide.
He crossed the Waking Sea to be with his family, the guilt of abandoning them in Lothering a stronger driver than fear of the Templars. But Hawke hadn’t reckoned on old friends and enemies in the city, hadn’t been prepared for the way his name would spread. All too soon, he is more a liability than an asset when it comes to keeping his family safe.
The Deep Roads expedition might be enough to protect his family, the money offering more security than Hawke’s presence. If he can survive those bloody tunnels for a second time. If he can keep out of Templar hands.

Summary
This is the story of Kate Enasallen, living her teenage years in Kirkwall during the time of the Champion. She leaves Denerim as a stowaway after the Battle changes her life forever, and through a series of misadventures eventually ends up in Kirkwall and befriending (or not) the usual suspects. But this story is not about them or their shenanigans, it’s about a lost teenager trying to find her place in the world, while also having to survive Kirkwall.
I originally planned to write about Kate living during the time of the Inquisition, but as I figured out her backstory, I fell in love with her wild, younger self, and decided to forego the flashbacks and to give the cheeky, lost girl her own story. Her journey through the Inquisition will be the second part of the series. I am a big fan of Dragon Age 2, so it really was inevitable that we’d end up here…

Summary
On the run from both Darkspawn and Templars, a sarcastic young apostate named Marian Hawke tries to make a life for herself and her family in Kirkwall. As the city slips inexorably into chaos, she finds herself caught up in events beyond her control. Whether it's fate or chance, there comes a time when one must stop running, and face the wolves.
They’d left Ferelden behind, perhaps forever, left their old lives behind, whatever remained of them. Left behind Bethany’s empty bed and Malcolm’s grave. Whatever was before had come to an end. And without an end, there can be no peace.
Set in a version of Thedas with modern technology, this fic spans the entire plot of Dragon Age II.

Summary
The Qunari came in force to Kirkwall - their first invasion of Southern Thedas since the Storm Age. Abandoned by their fellow Marcher cities, the Arishok rules with an iron fist - searching for the Tome of Koslun by any means necessary.
Hawke, avoiding capture by both the Qun and the Templars, sticks to the shadows, a thorn in everyone’s side. He won’t rest until the Arishok is dead and his city is free, but every day is a struggle to stay alive. With the bounty on his head only increasing, it’s only a matter of time before he’s captured - but how much damage can he do in the meantime?
An AU where the Qunari win the attack on Kirkwall, taking the city, and Hawke plays the role of rebel and resistance fighter.

Hawke is held captive by the Qunari as the Battle of Kirkwall breaks out. The Arishok decides it is best for this dangerous thing to be kept as sexual relief.

Summary
The Qunari are incredibly efficient, but sometimes Hawke doesn't want an efficient round of sex, he wants to take his time and have fun. Good luck to him, because he's about to try and demonstrate that concept to the Arishok.

Summary
Garrett Hawke is a simple guy. He likes simple things. Things like playing MMORPGs with his friends. Their guild, Wicked Grace, has been pretty exclusive for a while. But, when the guild becomes interested in recruiting a new member - an elven warrior named Fenris - what used to be a "fun way of passing time" becomes "Operation: Hard in Hightown" (or, as Isabela calls it, "Operation: Get Hawke Laid"). Needless to say, this operation is anything but simple.

Summary
In the distant future, Humans are the dominant power in the Thedosian Galaxy.
Those born with psychic powers are known as ‘mancers in the Human tongue and are ruthlessly persecuted by the Chantry and their elite force of mancer-hunters, the Templar Order. Though the Human Empire does not have any laws strictly stating that ‘mancy is illegal, or ‘mancers should be persecuted, the Chantry holds so much power in the Great Game of galactic politics that they are allowed free reign to do as they please, as long as they follow Imperial law…or so the Empire says.
But in one single city on the planet FM-XIII, a rebellion against the unjust slaughter of ‘mancers begins to brew. And as the flames of discontent grow higher and higher, one name is whispered in alleyways and shouted from rooftops: Hawke.
This is a sci-fi AU retelling of DA2, featuring Keira Hawke as the most infamous ‘mancer rebel in the Empire. Will she go down in history as a martyr or a living legend?

SEQUEL TO "THE DEATH OF ME"
Life has gone back to normal... well, mostly. The Magister is still on the run, and now the Inquisition has been invited to an important meeting they can't afford to miss. But not everything is as it seems, and the Inquisition will have to band together to solve the mysteries surrounding them, without losing anyone to the turmoil, including their new boat captain.
CW: This fic deals heavily with the Qunari, and the ways that the Qun can be abusive when seen from the outside. This means there will be heavy conversations around psychological abuse, gaslighting, abuser's tactics, and suicide, though no character will commit that act nor fantasize about it. There will also be no small amount of references to how religion and politics, specifically communism, interact and create abusive circumstances.
*Addition: Thanks to my lovely and wonderful spouse, Greg Ellis is now at least aware of this fanfiction. So that's cool. (If you're reading this, Greg - Hi!)*

Summary
Hawke is an apostate in a city that fears mages. The Circle of Kirkwall has a reputation, and Hawke is gaining one of his own. It is only a matter of time before he's on a collision course with the Templars, the Qunari and parts of his own family. How can he navigate the currents of a city on the edge without burning out, or burning it all down? How can he reconcile his own feelings for the magic-hating murderous elf in his life? And can he keep his mouth shut around the Knight-Commander for long enough to stay free?
A re-telling of DA2 focusing on how being a mage should make for a very different experience.
