The war between the Autobots and the Decepticons has long went on the planet cybertron, and now earth. The Autobots are losing the battle, but luck is one there side. A friend once thought to have perished is now back and bringing back to balance to the Autobots, and let's just say he is different then the last time he was seen..

And he can even take care of the most delicate things, like these stupid organic flowers that Soundwave CHALLENGED him with. Pssht! Soundwave doesn’t stand a chance to Starscream’s greatness!

Soundwave tries to quell rumors of him dating Starscream by publically rejecting the SIC. Starscream tries to prove how great he is to Soundwave, since NO ONE can reject Starscream (even if he has no idea what any of this is about). Soundwave believes that Starscream is up to no good, and tries to throw Starscream off guard with reccomendations from his cassettes.

It so nearly gave Red Alert a cerebral conduit rupture that the whole Autobot High Command had to crowd around to see.
“Megatron wants what!?” Prowl scoffs as disbelief and genuine irritation spread across his faceplate; there is no way that Megatron wants anything near peace with 'soft-sparked' Autobots.

Reluctantly, you chose the Autobots, aiding in critical escapes and operations that earned both admiration and unwanted attention. But fate had other plans. When the Autobots and Decepticons crash on a distant world called Earth, everyone is deactivated, entombed in silence for millions of years.
Now, awakened in a strange new era, you find yourself in the middle of the war once more. The Autobots still fight for freedom. The Decepticons still hunger for control. But both sides seem equally willing to battle for your heart, and not all of them play fair.

When the Decepticons, desperate for somebot who actually knows how to do repairs, kidnap Ratchet, he's fairly sure this is the end. At least until he sees how their medic, Hook, treats patients. With rescue pushed far from his processor, Ratchet sets to teaching the smug perfectionist proper medical procedure by hook or by crook, dragging the rest of his gestalt along with him.

It was just. Too coincidental for Starscream not to be suspicious. Megatron announces his plans for an inter-faction tournament, an idea, he claims, came to him only after hearing the Construction's reports on the renovation of the Pits a few days prior. One that definitely had nothing to do with a certain argument he had with Starscream that happened the previous day.
Right. Sure.
But Starscream could overlook all of that - albeit with a healthy dose of skepticism and doubt - if it weren’t for the victor’s reward.

On a Decepticon-ruled Cybertron, Megatron decides to host faction-wide tournament with a rather heavy-stakes prize on the line. Starscream is not too keen on this idea for several reasons.

The war drags on at grueling pace, and Megatron can't help the feeling his time is slipping through his servos. His spark is still set on winning this war but he can't help but feel he wants more. He doesn't want to regret his inaction in a couple thousand years. And who is Starscream not to take advantage of a perfectly good opportunity.
This is the story of two grown mechs who went into this thinking they'd finally conquer the other only to fall helm first into an arrangement neither of them was emotionally mature or healed enough to handle.

Megatron wants a sparkling, Starscream wants that damn promotion but they both get a the most devious situationship recorded in cybertronian history. Can they make it work, idk read the thing.

Being raised by Animals is a common used trope in stories to explain wild characters with no understanding of culture and social norms, at least according to human media.
Soundwave, however, finds this ignorant, he was raised by animals and turned out perfectly fine.Or: Author wants an excuse to write SW being a lot less sane than the Decepticons first assumed
