'I forgive you,' Hannibal reassured, 'I will admit, I have seemingly lived a hundred lives. That is something that someone as young as you will never understand,' he grinned, almost devilishly, and pulled out a chair for Will to sit on. 'Come now, let's begin. I'd like to get to know you first and go over how the next few months will look for us.'

Will is unsuspecting that the college-level tutor his father hired for him is responsible for all the vampiric deaths in the town. He is seemingly also unsuspecting to just how enamoured Hannibal is with him, and how far Hannibal would be willing to go to express this enamourment.

The mundane craft of each person around him was a cacophony of indifference that was nearly as stifling as the heat. He could feel the beginnings of his boredom settling into his bones and he fought the urge to settle in a chair for the day. That wouldn't satiate his hunger in the least.

His feeling of being watched was confirmed when he turned his head and found a tall and slim man in a long trench coat smoking on the porch. Something about this man screamed “RUN AWAY” in all caps and bright red letters to Will, but the stupid and drunk part of him wanted to get closer. As Will stepped closer, the smell of tobacco dissipated and was replaced by a warm and spicy, expensive smelling cologne.
This is vaguely (barely even) inspired by elements of Grey's Anatomy, Twilight, Pretty Little Liars, and other shows, movies, and books that I enjoy. Main characters are directly from NBC Hannibal but I created some of my own.

Will Graham is a graduate student at the University of Maryland. He and his roommate, Beverly, are happily living the dream in the university's Criminology program when they are unexpectedly evicted. Their classmate and sorta-friend Matthew Verger offers them a place to stay for free-- his eccentric yet charming godfather's home in Baltimore. Unfortunately, Matthew's good deed is motivated at least somewhat by his obsession with Will, who is not at all interested.
When Will and the mysterious Dr. Lecter finally meet, Will develops a crush on the older man and can't quite discern if their late-night conversations and connection are more than just friendly.
Matthew is not pleased.

“Hannibal Lecter.”And now Will knew his name, could whisper it to himself, and hope that Hannibal would return here again and again. “Your English is perfect, and—what I could understand from the Lithuanian—that was also perfect. Any languages you aren’t perfectly fluent in?” Will didn’t even notice that last sentence slip out, and could react to his own words by blushing once more, “Um, I mean—I. That just slipped out, you don’t have to answer!” He tried backtracking, but had to look up from where he was fiddling with the roses, when he suddenly heard laughter.
“I’m not offended. Charmed, rather. I deal with enough personalities at my work, that such candor is refreshing.”
