When a rare internship opportunity arrived from the Armed Detective Agency, Kaminari Denki was originally disinterested. After all, due to his performance in the Provisional License Exam, he had hundreds of other offers to sort through, offers from much more well-known and established agencies than the one based in a predominantly Quirkless city.
Then, he spotted it.

His new Commission handler is a tidy man with tinted make-up under his eyes. He looks at Denki like he is a particularly unruly child, and Denki thinks he is supposed to hate it.
He doesn’t, even when the man reaches across the table and tosses his labelling request back at him.
“Unfortunately, we cannot accept your forms at the current moment.”
“Why not?” Denki pouts, crossing his arms.
“Because, Model KD-V18,” the handler practically grits out his next words, despite his face remaining an ever serene calm, “There are matters of higher priority than renumbering you to 420-69.”
