Summary
After chapter 15, and before chapter 16, Jonas got a memory of a new thing from The Giver. This Memory is of a city, more specifically, New York City.
This work follows Jonas while he receives a memory of New York City, and an unexpected encounter of a girl who looks like his sister, Lily. Jonas starts the memory in the middle of Times Square, and the girl is supposedly his sister. They find their way out of the crowded square, but then they encounter a larger problem: They’re lost in the big city, and night is approaching.
