Summary
Sky turned around, half expecting to find a monster behind him, but he couldn’t make anything out in the darkness and rain. Maybe there was something Time could see that he couldn’t?
“Everyone!” Time shouted behind him, not taking his eyes off Sky. Sky blinked at him in nervous confusion, opening his mouth but then closing it. It was good Time was getting everybody else, right? They could help.
The trees behind him rustled. He startled, turning to see the rest of the group stepping into the small clearing, swords and shields reflecting off of their respective light sources. They surrounded Sky, and he was struck by the strange feeling that all of their cautious glares were directed his way.
...Did they not recognize him?-
Or,
Sky has an unfortunate experience with a lightning storm and undergoes some... changes. Everything goes downhill from there.

Summary
Sky knew that he wasn’t going to be able to keep up with everybody else for much longer if he continued at his rate. He could feel the blisters and blood on his feet and how his legs shook with each step. But… it wasn’t like he could stop, either. Stopping would mean slowing down the whole group. It would mean burdening them.
So he kept pushing forward and somehow managed to completely tune out the pain, instead focusing on keeping his legs moving at a steady pace.-
Or,
Sky pushes his limits a bit too far.

Summary
Agrypnia (from the Greek: to chase sleep)
Three days before he turned eight, the night before the annual Wing Ceremony they watched together, his mother had fallen off of Skyloft while he was waiting for her to come home.
Their shared bed was empty and cold and for weeks he couldn’t bring himself to disturb the messy blankets that she’d tossed aside or the soft dent in the mattress she had been in not long ago that was surely gone by now but he couldn’t.
Even years afterwards, he still had trouble. Either it was a difficulty going to sleep at night or a difficulty staying awake in the day. It never left him and he hated it.-
Or,
Sky's relationship with sleep had always been... complicated.

Summary
In hindsight, maybe Wild should’ve attempted to account for the fact he had not yet regained his memories of being trained in the medical field as a knight. But then again, it wasn’t like he even knew he had them in the first place, so it wasn’t really his fault he had no idea what the symptoms of a concussion were.

Or,
A short water break leads to an unexpected octorok attack leads to the contemplation of if it counts as hiding your injuries when you didn't even really know it was an injury and not just a bad headache. Everybody, including Wild, are idiots.

Summary
“Hey, Captain? Mind doing a headcount?”
Wars nodded and turned to count the others who were following behind them. “One, two, three, four… five, six, seven, eight.”
Assuming Wars wasn’t including himself, Time thanked him and went to continue down the path.—
When Sky woke up, it was, unusually, to complete silence.
Or,
the Chain really need to start double-checking they have everybody with them when they pack up and leave camp, and Sky needs to work on his self-preservation skills.Series
