Summary
When news is brought back from the Egyptian borderlands that young King Tutankhamun fell in battle, Queen Ankhesenamun is devastated. She is now the last gasp of a dying dynasty.
As history knows, Vizier Ay immediately sees this as his golden opportunity: He will marry the queen and finally be crowned pharaoh. But Ankhesenamun has already chosen her next husband—a man she has loved in secret for many years.
The gods have a different plan for her, however, and when Tutankhamun reappears at the palace dressed as a commoner, he claims he was betrayed and left to die by those he trusted most.
Now, for the first time in her life, Ankhesenamun, whose life has always served in the interests of her pharaoh and dynasty, has a choice to make.Series

There were many things in this world I did not know. But one thing I knew for certain was that for all its untamed magnificence, lightning cannot create itself.
By my understanding, lightning was electricity, and electricity requires a charge. In order for the electricity to burn bright enough for others to see it, it must depend on another force of energy to lend its magic.
"I think you are the lightning."
I was: Lightning With The Yellow Hair, but only because he lent me his magic. -

"You know, you always seemed like a...market tested kinda thing. Big gun, tasteful scar. Locked in your little cycle like a prized poodle after its own tail."
It was true. Hector Escaton had been built to serve a very specific role in Westworld: Poster-boy Desperado. He was violent, aloof, and a main attraction. Aside from the odd blacklisted exchange, he faithfully stuck to his role, driven by a cliché romantic backstory and a reckless thirst for chaos.
He was the last host Ford ever expected to discover the maze. Until he met a human rights lawyer from Los Angeles with a penchant for pulling strings."Hector, do you believe that myth you told Maeve? The one about the people who walk between worlds?"

Summary
"I've painted a picture of my husband in my mind, and he don't look like you."
At the time, I meant it as a joke, a harmless flirtation to which Ennis had a charming rebuttle. I was completely swept off my feet by him and have no regrets about it. He was my first love, my first death, my first everything; he helped make me a woman. But a part of me that was wise beyond her years could see through the burning passion of the present and knew the truth:
My husband waited for me in Comanche territory. -

Summary
Ankhesenamun's wishes and hopes were always tied to those of Egypt. There was no room for selfish desires in the palace, not in her position, not in her tumultuous dynasty. There was especially not room for all-consuming love. But with Tutankhamun's death, all of that would change. For once, Ankhesenamun would indulge her deepest desire—to be more than a political pawn. To be in love and be loved in return.
"Harit, send for Ka."

Alternate Title: 5 Times Jenny Shipped Lois & Clark
Alternate to the Alternate Title: 5 Times Lois & Clark Didn't Say "I Love You.""Superman is big news these days and that means Superman's interest in Lois Lane is fair game," said Cat.
Jenny had to yank on Inez's arm to keep her from talking. "You want us to investigate Lois? Is that allowed?"
"I want to know for sure if they're getting together. 'Cause if they are, we can drum up some pretty good readership with a little love triangle. Beautiful, successful career woman caught between the love of an alien saviour of the world, and Joe Normal from Hicksville, Alabama. Do you know how many hits that would generate for the DP site?"Bookmarked by BlueEyePhantom

Season Five Missing and Extended Scenes by calliope_calling

Summary
The purpose of this work is to add some new scenes and build on some existing scenes from season 5 to help us better understand the characters (and occasionally plot) and support the ending. Because this runs adjacent to the season, you will need to have watched or be watching the season in order to follow along. This focuses primarily on Teresa's character development and her relationship with James, which I think was under-explored in canon.

Summary
The unspoken words were clearer than anything they could have said. The ache of missing one another while in each other’s arms was so much heavier than from miles apart.
