Summary
This wasn’t the first time this man had caught your eye. There was something about him that always drew your wandering gaze to his towering form. Maybe it was the way his limbs were just a little too long for the rest of his body, the way he seemed to stumble about in a half aware gaze, his mind seemingly always in the distance. Or it could be his eyes, a striking and almost unnatural blue, the kind of blue that strains if you stare at it for too long, and the way those eyes sometimes flickered from side to side as he carried himself through town. But most likely, it was just the fact that he was so darn cute. His gaunt face and drooping, tired eyes captivated you, despite those not being conventionally attractive. But you liked a man with secrets, and judging by the sleeplessness beneath his eyes, you were willing to bet that he had a plethora of those.
