Bakugou’s almond-shaped eyes widen to the shapes of saucers, anger pooling in the center of his carmine irises. “Stop—fucking—saying that!” he shouts, and above his voice, Kirishima can hear someone knocking on their living room wall. “Not once, during this pointless-ass fucking argument, did I ever say I didn’t give a shit about you.”
“You don’t have too—your actions alone speak loud enough!”
Kirishima just wants one chance to spend some time with his boyfriend; Bakugou wishes he'd understand that sometimes, shit just happens.

Mitsuki launches herself off the horse and towards him, relief slamming through her as she soaks in the warmth of the willowy body of her son in her arms. She’s got a tirade queued up that will have the gods come down from the sky begging to tone it down, but then her eyes fall on the bundle of red scaled wings, white teeth, whiny chirping, and long, long, spiked tail clawing at the crook of Katsuki’s elbow to avoid sliding off to the ground.
Katsuki sniffs proudly. “I found me a chicken.”Or: in which a dragon is mistaken for a chicken for the longest time and Mitsuki clearly never told her child enough legends before bed.

There was a scuffle outside in the hallway, something being slammed against one of the walls and a low groan, and Katsuki’s shoulders tensed. “Everything fuckin’ fine out there?” He turned around to lean against the counter, fingers gripping the edge so tightly they bit painfully into his palm. That was nothing though, he’d had much worse, in this very same spot even.
A flash of red hair entered his vision as Eijirou’s face peeked around the doorway. There was a steely glint to his eyes and a dark scrape along his cheek where a little blood dribbled out. “Totally, Katsuki. Kendo here just tripped and I was helping him up.” His smile was blinding and completely at war with the red seeping into the collar of his pressed shirt. That was all he offered before ducking his head back into the hallway.

There's a bang when Bakugou opens the door, or at least, so he wishes. Those damn automatic doors only open smoothly these days, no matter how angrily he swipes his card. They don’t care that Bakugou is in a slamming door mood. They don’t care that his investigation on renegade androids is leading him nowhere again, even though he'd really thought his team would find a solution, now they've identified that it's a virus. The door doesn’t give a shit about how fast it's spreading, or about how the higher ups refuse to admit that it's a real issue. It opens and closes in silence, revealing the dark hallway of Bakugou's apartment.
Coming home after a hard day at work, Bakugou expects a warm welcome and comforting words from his butler android Kirishima. But not this time.
