He was mildly irritated, this being the fifth storm this week. Checking his watch and groaning, Jonny sighs, sitting up and stretching before looking out the window.

“Will I tell your father, you mean?” Guinevere snorted. Looked up at him, tilted her head, distinctly combative. “What if I say I will? Will you get yasel’ killed tryin’ to shoot me?”
“No.” He sat up straighter, ignored the burning in his back. Held her gaze, and figured he had no leeway for demanding. But there was nothing preventing him from just asking it of her. There was little else he could do, other than ask for her good will and hope she might care enough to show it. “But I am gonna ask you not to.”
Her eyes flicked away from him, cocking her head in what – at the very least – seemed like consideration.
“Steep ask, Mordred. Better hear a good argument behind it.”
