"Yeah, no," Joe lifts a finger. He approaches his husband again, pulling him closer until there's nothing between them. "Don't even think about it. I will gladly fuck you until the end of time Nicolo. If that is the last thing I will do, I won't change a thing."

“Because you needed it. . .” Yusuf answered. He was cutting up the meat of a small catch he managed to capture that day and giving the larger portion to Nicolo. “If I was in the same situation, I would hope someone would carry my burden and help me as well.”

He also knew Nicky would shoot him if he found out he was letting societal rules get to him. But he couldn’t help it. He was afraid. What if he messed up? What if their kid hated him? What if he couldn’t protect them like he should? What if he wasn’t ready? What if Nicky started hating him for being a terrible father?
