    Stede/Ed/Izzy, protecting the captain(s), partial/full amputation, recovery

    Partially inspired by other prompts where the crew gets captured in some way and aren't able to escape, and Izzy purposely pisses off their captors to draw attention away from Stede and on to himself. Basically, he opens his mouth and doesn't stop talking. He says anything that comes to mind to piss these guys off, up to the point where they threaten to cut his tongue out and then some.
    would love to see the fallout (stitches/surgery, complications when it comes to performing his duties as First Mate, how it affects his relationship with Ed and Stede, the general trauma of the whole thing, and/or anything else along those lines).

    ++++Regardless of the degree of the injury, it would be interesting if Izzy had to depend on Stede and Lucius to communicate (through writing).
