Turns out being super stressed, arguably suicidal, and recently injured can trigger a kitsune inheritance (if your name is Kaeya). Luckily, the Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine is in the market for a protégé-- even if they're stuck in fox form.

Almost expecting an ill-appreciated prank from another of her kind, she rapidly darts around the wide bend of the Great Tree to face the perpetrator on its other side.
There is most definitely one of her kin, here, but they are in no condition to cause any mischief, ill-appreciated or otherwise; huddled between two above-ground roots is a trembling, nearly unconscious kit. Its dark bluish fur is tinted almost purple due to the light of the rapidly setting sun and all the pink of the yumemiru tree, nearby, and it is coated in a thin layer of frost from nose to rump— either as a last-ditch effort of self-defense from enemies, or perhaps due to losing control over the seemingly brand new cryo vision sitting nearby."

Summary
John's team is called in for a pretty routine investigation at Zinco Corp's headquarters in New Jersey. Unfortunately, whoever is pulling the strings at the mysterious corporation seems to have taken a less than routine interest in one specific team member. (You can guess which one.)
That being said, Nuada has a personal and vested interest in that very same person and would very much like him back, now. And if a few long-standing questions are answered in the process, well, that just saves him and Nuala a bit of trouble, probably.

Summary
It was supposed to be a literal walk in the park, but some new True Knot member had thoroughly ruined that idea when she came after Crow Daddy and Dan.
The fight is a near thing, but Dan successfully tries out a new trick, and Crow gets a whole set of new ones out of the ordeal.And Rose? Rose is inordinately glad to have her fool men back, even if one's come back more bumped and bruised mentally than physically.
Luckily, Rose the Hat is keen on tending to those types of hurts when it suits her. (It goes without saying that Dan suits her-- suits her and Crow-- just fine)

His fingers smooth over the rounded, paper borders to the little cellophane rectangle that shows his mailing info on the letterhead underneath. Printed in plain, black typeface, just above their bungalow’s address are the words ‘Jason Montenegro’.

Summary
Title is from a line in Shylock's speech in Act 3, Scene 1 of Shakespeare's 'Merchant of Venice'. (Crow Daddy himself quotes passages from this particular part of the play a few times in the 'Doctor Sleep' novel.)
*Dan, Rose the Hat, and Crow Daddy are a bit of an odd throuple, if you will, but damned if I'm not into it.
I'm mostly just diddling around with whatever ideas come to me in this AU-- not too many "plot" ideas. I'm guessing this'll mostly be vignettes and ficlets and such for a (self-indulgent) OT3.

Summary
The series title says it all, really. I watched Far Cry: The Experience one too many times and never quite got over Vaas telling everyone to come to his island-- heck, bring their kids, too!
So yeah, this is canon divergent with little tie-ins and loose similarities to big events (Vaas and Buck work for Hoyt, Citra and her 'forces' are still jockying for 'control' on Rook, etc.). This is definitely some fun, self-indulgent fic, friends.
TL;DR- I loves me a good AU where almost everything is perfect and very little hurts. So I made one.
