Tony's injured, night is falling, and he's stranded in a cabin with a handful of teammates who are woefully under-equipped to deal with the oncoming wave of HYDRA soldiers that are about to blow down their door and pick them off.
Honestly though, Tony's more pissed about the fact that this all happened during Christmas. Were everything going to plan, he'd be copping a feel with Captain America under the mistletoe right about now.
Sometimes he really hates his job.

“Nothing, nothing,” Steve says. “It’s just…well, Vickie’s over and…I was kinda wondering if I could just crash on you guys’ floor for the night?”

The room key sits heavy in Lando’s pocket as he rides the elevator up to the eighth floor. He knows that people saw him in the lobby, standing out amongst the red shirts moving between their rooms and the bar. Maybe he can get away with it by pretending he's visiting Carlos – their friendship is well-documented – but rumours spread fast in the paddock. And Carlos is at dinner with his parents.
So yeah, now the entire team knows that he’s sneaking into their hotel to see Charles, while carrying a grease-soaked McDonalds bag. Great.
