Deadpool does a better job understanding Spider-Man's strengths and limitations as an autistic super than pretty much anyone else does. This doesn't stop Peter from getting involved with a cult while investigting a series of suicide bombers. He's just that much of a disaster, autistic or not.
I play fast and loose with canon but try to stay true to (what I perceive to be) the spirit of the characters. Note that neither Peter nor Wade are based on any movie versions.

“Did you have a good time last night wherever you weren’t supposed to be?” his father asked him as Billy came around the front of the Camaro. Billy paused with his fingers grazing the hood.
Billy looked down at the ground, too tired to keep his head up. He wasn’t supposed to do that when his father asked him a question, he was supposed to look his dad in the face and give a proper answer. Billy didn’t have an answer to give, though, so he didn’t look at his dad and he didn’t talk, he just stood there.
He noticed his father’s cigarette fall to the ground before he stepped on it with the toe of his boot.
“Get in the truck.”

He hates every single part of himself, he feels completely useless, worthless, like he has no purpose here anymore, because he isn’t going anywhere in life, no one fucking wants him, and all he can do in response to it all is spend every day, every waking moment wallowing in his own self-pity since there isn’t even a single person who would do that much for him.
Steve can’t remember the last time he was happy, the last time he didn’t hate himself like this, the last time he genuinely felt like his parents loved him. Maybe there’s never been a last time for any of those things, maybe it’s always been this way and it’s all just gotten worse over the past year, and maybe it’s not ever going to get better.
