Emily was the rebel and adventurer that she didn't boast of her intelligence.
Madelaine was the popular outgoing one who hid her brain behind a friendly smile.
They were inseparable and looked out for each other at all costs, always having their backs.
But one day a tragic event destroyed the perfect Martin family and since then nothing has been the same.The parents of the girls separated violently.
Madelaine acquired a phobia of social interaction, she didn't smile with anyone but Lydia and some people who earned her love.
Lydia had to become the cold bitch that everyone knows to be the center of attention and protect Madelaine from her prying eyes.

Empezar de nuevo apesta. Cuando nos mudamos a West Virginia justo antes del último curso, ya me había resignado al acento raro, a tener mala conexión a Internet y a aburrirme como una ostra… hasta que vi a la sexy de mi vecina, tan alta y con unos ojos grises impresionantes.
Las cosas parecen ir mejorando. Y entonces ella abrió la boca. Elizabeth es insufrible. Arrogante, desquiciante. No nos llevamos nada bien. Nada, nada bien. Pero cuando un desconocido me atacó y Elizabetb congeló el tiempo, literalmente, con solo mover la mano… bueno, sucedió algo… inesperado.

Things have been stressful for Kyoshi. First, she sang a poem and now the whole kitchen staff thinks it’s about Rangi, and is sure that there will be gossip. Then, Yun asks her to join him for the Fifth Nation treaty signing. Now Rangi’s acting strange. It’s becoming a bit much for Kyoshi’s small corner of the world.
