Summary
Pete sees him from a mosh pit: almost electric as his sticks flew over the drums, laying down a rhythm that was thrumming through his veins alongside his pulse. A wide, militant, explosive grin is on his face as he screams the words, sweaty blonde hair falling into his eyes from under a hat that perches askance on his head.
He pushes his way through the crowd, wanting to know more, to know who this kid was who played drums like his life depended on it. Wanting to know everything about him and if he was into Alphas who wore eyeliner and had a deep need to cuddle.
OR: Not your typical A/B/O story. Two boys, their friends, some hidden demons and a whole lot of falling in love punctuated by an intensely sassy Patrick. Contains some mature elements that will be outlined in author's notes.

According to the Fall Out Boy Wikipedia: Stump and Wentz met up for the first time in several years in early 2012 for a writing session. Wentz reached out to Stump after he penned his letter, as he too felt he was in a dark place and needed a creative outlet. He was at first reluctant to approach Stump, likening the phone call to reconnecting with a lover after years of acrimony.

Summary
When Patrick agrees to tour in the back of a beat-up van, it’s mainly because he’s gotten a hold of some heat suppressants. When Pete throws them out the window it all starts to go downhill. Patrick is the awkward, self-conscious, omega and Pete is the cool older alpha. He doesn’t know how he fits into Pete’s life besides being his halfway decent lead singer. But when Patrick finds himself dealing with a heat in some shady motel room, he finds more clarity than he thought possible.

Patrick brought his own hands to frame Pete’s face, looking into golden amber eyes, the ones he’s been in love with since that moment on his porch. “How could I not?” He places his hand over Pete’s chest, right over his heart, feeling the steady thump against his palm through Pete’s threadbare shirt.
