He returned to his team as Teikoku started their warm-up. If one could even call it that. Shot after shot rained into the dirt, whipping away dust as they hit the ground with unbearable force. Passes were traded that were so technically impossible, he couldn't seem to trust his eyes. Every player looked like they were made for this, for playing with brute strength and incredible intellect melded together into one terrifying display of power.
And in the middle of it all was Kidou. Directing and controlling what seemed untameable, like a commander on the battlefield.
Looking at his discouraged teammates, some of which seemed to be close to running away, he realized that it probably shouldn't have excited him as much as it did.

Luffy's eyebrows knotted together in concentration. He kept silent like this for almost a minute before his expression brightened up again. "Nope!"
Shanks gave the child a sappy smile and nodded sagely. "Of course, you wouldn't know what went through the head of those stinky barbarians." Privately he wondered if another smile like that would be enough to kill him.
Luffy laughed brightly. "You're weird."
Seems like he'd find out sooner than later.

Mydeimos steps close, and the air between them vibrates against Phainon's skin like a private, dangerous current. He raises the kantharos in a toast before tilting his head back to take a deep draught. His throat bobs with each swallow.
Scarlet tattoos on his neck and clavicle shift in a sinuous line. A droplet escapes, leaving a rosy trail down his cheek. Phainon's lips part, his mouth suddenly parched.
After their ten-day duel, Phainon joins the Kremnoan detachment's deipnon at the Crown Prince's personal invitation.

spoilers for hsr 3.3
When it comes to predatory, soul-sucking gacha games, Cosmic Impact Rail Zero was probably the worst of the worst. Did it have incredible characters? Yes. An engaging storyline? Double yes. Did it make Mydei want to blow his entire paycheck on weapons and skins and more rolls? Of course it did.
But it also killed off basically every character in the game, including the crown prince that shared Mydei's name– Mydeimos the Undying, Son of Gorgo. How the hell was that even possible?! He literally had undying in his title!?
So when the developers ask for feedback, Mydei goes off on a heated tangent– and finds himself reincarnated as his namesake. You know– the doomed prince, destined for a life of hardship? Destined to die?
Not if Mydei has anything to say about it.
