Summary
Dammon and Rolan get on each other’s nerves. Now, amidst a crisis of identity, he must relearn how to be passionate about the only thing he’s ever been good at or let a part of his soul die forever.
Constantly worrying for the safety of his siblings, Rolan made a deal with [REDACTED]. Cal and Lia are safe—for now—but in return, failure to reach Lorroakan in time would result in a demon lord taking control of his body. Yet his ragtag group of tiefling refugees seems reluctant to leave the grove, even with the druids hospitality running out, and an imminent goblin attack threatening their camp.
After a cave in the Emerald Grove collapses and traps them inside, the two men are forced to face the feelings they’ve been hiding from themselves—and each other.
