Summary
On what Lan Xichen thought was supposed to be a simple night hunt, he met a mysterious man in the forest. The man was unconscious, but when he went over to offer help, he suddenly found a sword near his throat. He reasoned with the mysterious man that he meant no harm, but the man did not believe him. Surprisingly though, never would he have imagined that this man who was about to kill him now would protect and save his life later.

OR: Zhou Zishu spent some time in Cloud Recesses to heal his injuries while being forced to copy rules. After Zhou Zishu left Cloud Recesses, Lan Xichen spent more than a year searching and missing him, but Zhou Zishu never appeared before him again - at least not until Lan Xichen's life was once again in danger.

Summary
An accident at Changming mountain brought Zhou Zishu back to the days when he was still the Leader of the Window of Heaven. Before he was even sure of what exactly happened, he was ordered by Prince Jin to eliminate Officer Li and his family. If nothing went wrong, the ambush should be a success like the last time, but the Window of Heaven ended up being ambushed instead. More than a dozen of swords were pointing at Zhou Zishu while Officer Li and Princess Jing'an were standing before him, their eyes were filled with thirst for revenge. Zhou Zishu realized then that these two must have traveled back in time too. As if this was not surprising enough, his Shidi, Qin Jiuxiao who he had buried more than a year ago was standing in front of him now.

OR: Officer Li and Princess Jing'an forced Zhou Zishu to pick one poison to end his life out of the ten poisons prepared for him. Qin Jiuxiao was not helping much either by standing in front of Zhou Zishu in silence. Believing that his Shidi wanted him dead too, Zhou Zishu gulped down all of the ten poisons without giving it much thought, only to regret his actions later when Wen Kexing arrived.

Summary
“A-Xiang and Brother Zhou's blood, why can they mix together?”
Zhou Zishu and Gu Xiang happened to be standing beside each other with the blood from their wound trickling down to the ground together. It was not until Cao Weining asked the question that everyone glanced down to the ground, noting how the blood of these two people could really be mixed together. Shock was written all over their face. Zhou Zishu and Gu Xiang stared at each other, one looking bewildered and the younger one looking surprised.
The others behind them – Wen Kexing, Zhang Chengling and Cao Weining were looking very much puzzled too, but Lord Seventh's face was almost as pale as a white piece of paper. The Great Shaman had a hand on Lord Seventh's shoulder, looking somewhat strange as well.

OR: Zhou Zishu is the biological father of A-Xiang, but he has no memories of having a daughter as old as A-Xiang. It does not help though that Lord Seventh and the Great Shaman seem to be hiding something and doing their best to avoid Zhou Zishu. A-Xiang is determined to find out the truth and question Zhou Zishu as to why he had so cruelly thrown her into Ghost Valley in the first place.

Zhou Zishu merely shrugged him off like it meant nothing, like he understood he was at fault for being drunk and Xiao Chuhe should not take any responsibility for what happened last night despite being completely conscious.
"I can help," offered Xiao Chuhe.
"What?" Zhou Zishu asked, baffled.
"As long as you get married to me in Tianqi City, all your brothers from Four Seasons Manor can come to Tianqi City to live with us. That way, they do not need to continue a life filled with killing and be killed, and they do not need to go through the torment of seven nails either."

One was the sixth prince of Beili, and the other was the leader of the Window of Heaven. Two different people who were once connected by a marriage alliance, but when they met again after so many years, they were nothing more than strangers who refused to look into each other's eyes.
