Summary
They whisper to the desperate, if you go to the nearest body of water, a heavy fog will cover the area and a boat will appear in the water. The moments before the boat reaches you will be your last opportunity to change your mind and leave because when that boat docks, you'll be swept away by the spirit of the Yiling Patriarch and his son.
Most of the sects scoffed at this, Wei Wuxian is good and dead! And he doesn't even have a son, he would have been killed when they rid the world of the demon. Lan Xichen hid a smile behind his cup as Nie Huaisang snickered to himself and Jiang Cheng loudly scoffed. As no one's asked him if these rumors are true, it'll remain a secret between the three of them.
TLDR: Wei Ying became a god, Lan Yuan also became a god, the dead get revived, a sect is made, and the Jins can burn in hell, not you three.

"You mean... your ancestors?" He tries, even if it is a very dumb thing to ask, since he already knows who he is talking about. A-Yuan, always a kind boy, nods, not moving anything else but his hands, fidgeting with them as if it's going to help to calm his rattled heart.
"Well, A-Yuan. I didn't knew them for years as I knew the Jiangs, and we didn't get to know each other deeply because of... the circustamces that surrounded us at the moment. But if there is something, you can call it a reason, that we had in common after spending barely hours together... that reason is you."

‘Don’t be unreasonable,’ Lan Wangji strained on an inhale, hoping her voice would not tremble.
Wuxian tittered. ‘Is this even a rule? Sounds like something you’d just say.’ She followed along for a few quiet seconds, which boded even worse. ‘You know, there surely must be some rules you are breaking right now.’
Be easy on others, Wangji’s mind supplied immediately. Have courtesy and integrity. Do not be of two minds. Do not be greedy.
‘I think there was something there about bullying the weak?’ Wuxian mused.
Do not walk too fast, Wangji’s mind thrummed as she picked up her pace.
