All these fics are so gorgeous I alr have tooamy bookmarked fics so I'm just gonna bookmark the whole series. I love how Jason's issues are explored the little nuances the doubts the distrust even the way he laughs when he feels like breaking down it's all amazingly written and so well explored. The twitches in human emotions is smth I absolutely love especially when it's so well done hope I can come back to this one day gorgeous writing

If someone had told Jason a week ago that patching up the vigilante that roamed Hell's Kitchen would come back to bite him in the ass, he would have probably agreed with them. But he had been hoping that his ability to intimidate people would have eventually scared him off.
He didn't expect Daredevil to be like an annoying pest that kept coming back. And it probably didn't help that he fed the guy...
Regardless, the vigilante kept chipping at his walls with every visit. And for some reason, Jason let him.

Dick slowly stood and its head jerked to follow the motion. He stepped forward until he was almost chest to chest with it. He knew it was a stupid thing to do—he was unarmored and unarmed, but he felt sure that it wasn't here to hurt him. It didn't flinch away or reach for its weapons when he approached. This close he could see that it was trembling. He reached up, telegraphing his movements, and gently gripped the hood's fabric. He paused, giving plenty of time for the Talon to pull away, but it didn't.
He lifted the hood.
