if you haven't read them, I do highly say " go read them!"but in short, follow sunset shimmer as she gets stuck in a body of a 6-year-old, and her adventures from family shenanigans, becoming friends with the apples and other characters against your will, being concerned about human culture and guilt of taking away her doppelganger's life!

Lila Rossi was a liar, plain and simple. You know it, I know it, and she revels in it.
Of course, to be a good liar, you have to practice.
Though, if you were to have, say, a magical creature called a “kwami” who had loose morals and who's only loyalty was to you, it would be much easier.
Enter Russe, the Kwami of Deception. Feeling indebted to Lila for reasons that you'll figure out immediately, Russe helps Lila with whatever she wants. No matter how big the lie, Russe will obediently do what Lila asks.
I mean, lies are believable with magic, after all.
But, when up against other Kwami holders, especially when they're permanent holders, the lies become harder to sell. Compounded by the fact that one of them is a goody two-shoes named Marinette Dupain-Cheng who wants to expose your lies, and keeping everything under wraps just became 100x tougher.
So, what better way to squash ‘rumors’ than to blackmail and date your biggest opponent? I know, Lila's a genius!
The only problem now is what happens after…
