“But wouldn’t I know?” Arthur narrowed his eyes. “This seems kind of important. I think I would know.”
Morgana intervenes early and Arthur winds up captured on an Angle ship with Mordred for company. Neither of them is particularly enthusiastic about this, but with Morgana's presence growing and Mordred's hands in iron chains, Arthur may be forced to face realities he did not wish challenged and use methods he condemned - even magic.

Summary
After you try and redeem yourself during the war, you immediately go and throw yourself into more danger in a sick attempt to prove yourself. The only thing you do end up proving is that you don't care whether you live or die, and everyone notices, but they don't say anything. You try, and try and try, only to end up failing in the end. But that's okay, because you have more family that you ever thought you could.
