Victoria should've seen the signs. She'd seen her every day, spoke to her almost as often. Her and Taylor had worked side by side. And Victoria had never even suspected something was wrong until it was too late.
She'd spent every day since then regretting not doing something more.
Finally, she'd been given a chance to make things right, and she refused to let it pass her by.

No Death Note, but Light's power is very similar. Basically exploring how these characters' presence might change the way that the events of Worm unfolded.
