    I woke up on the warm sand. That’s weird, I’d been in my cabin last night. My eyes opened and I was bombarded by the sun. Weird. I sat up, shocked to find a cut along my abdomen.

    What happened?

    I looked around, expecting to at least see the cabins on the rise of the ground. Nothing. No clashing of swords from the arena, no chatting as campers walked back to their cabins. No pegasi flying above the ground.

    Where was I?

    Or…

    Percy Jackson appears on the shores of Ancient Ithaca to fix his dad’s mistakes. Probably Hera’s fault let’s be honest.

    Percy knew he was in over his head even before a group of men, dressed like they were going to win an ancient Greek costume competition, stepped into the cave.

    When Percy was knocked out on Polyphemus' Island while trying to save his friends, he had no idea that waking up in ancient Greece was an outcome he had to prepare for.
    But here he was, sailing across an unknown sea with a very well known ancient hero, reenacting the Odyssey (of which he knew far to little) and trying not to die. Fun times.
    Meeting the gods (who were wilder, younger and way more vengeful) while attempting to not mess up the future was just the top of the metaphorical iceberg.

    The only good thing? Dreaming about a rather cute boy who always made him smile...

    After the wars, after all the people she lost, Percy was tired. She was done with the mythical world, all she wanted was peace. So she returned home to her mother's apartment. But she couldn't stand the looks she was given by her mother, the pitying looks. So she moved away from everything she knew and everything that knew her, becoming someone else. She pointed to a map and chose a city at random, Gotham. She had no real idea what she was going to do, but she would figure it out.

    When she got a security job at Wayne Enterprises, she was happy, it was something that she could do, she knew violence, she knew how to deal with it. What she didn't expect was getting closer to her employer, what she didn't expect was to find somewhere where she could actually heal.

    "Paul and I are going on a trip, and before you ask, no you cannot stay here on your own."

    Dam, there goes my plans to invite Annabeth, Piper, Leo, and Nico over for the month. They're all year-rounders these days but I know they'd like to stay somewhere they're not responsible for 8-year-olds for a while. I get why I shouldn't though, last time was home alone for more than a couple hours, Paul came home to me summoning three gallons of water from the moisture in the air to put out a fire that I accidentally started on the stove trying to make mac n' cheese. Then, upon him announcing his presence by screaming, I slipped on some of said water and gave myself a mild concussion.

    "Okay," I said, "but since Mr. D says I need to 'expand my comfort zone outside of camp', whatever that means, I don't have anywhere to stay." My mom shook her head.

    "First of all, you know exactly what it means. He's tired of you telling everyone who praises you for saving the world that you 'did it for the vine' and pointing at him." I giggled at that. "Second of all, I've already got you a place to stay. With your uncle."
