He’s freezing. The rain is coming down and he’s soaked to his dough and he’s so damn cold. There’s an ugly slash to one of the eyes in his hair, and it hurts to blink. He’s been bleeding from a wound on his hip for hours, one he just can’t seem to close up. His mana levels are incredibly low, and it’s a miracle he’s even still standing.
And here, now, he stands in front of the palace in the Vanilla kingdom. The sun long gone, the cobble still warm beneath his feet.
Shadow Milk does not deserve Pure Vanilla’s kindness.

OR:
After a spell gone wrong amidst the battle in his Spire of Deceit, Shadow Milk ends up isekai-ed into the fairytale world of a poor daughter whose glass slipper is the 'sole' key to the story's foretold ending.
That's fine: he vaguely recalls the basic plot! Nothing can go wrong, right?
Except... this fairytale has its own twists. Twists that will gaslight the living shit out of his own memories of the fairytale. For example, the Soul Jam is his glass slipper out.
Of course, he has to figure that out too.

.The structure of the world is not made for ones like him. Where beasts are to be revered, Shadow Milk does not accept the idea of being any less. He is not an omega, and he definitely isn’t in denial. There are still those hands willing to hold his dough, and tell him it’s okay to need space to rest.
Or, Pure Vanilla helps Shadow Milk accept being an omega. (Eventual smut)

They could have never predicted the manner in which the team now returned, panicked, shouting commands at eachother, a few of the cookies out of sight and on the floor of the basket below in an effort to tend to.. something.
The team seemed fine, everyone seemed intact, no one was hurt, yet they could see blood stains, and of course there was the problem of whoever was down there? If it wasn't a member of the team, then who…?For a moment, when the basket's door opened, they considered whether it would have been better not to know. Maybe ignorance truly was bliss, maybe if they hadn't seen this would have gone unknown to them, mere hushed whispers through the kingdom, secrets hidden from them, would be all that remained of this horrible sight, the sight of the pitiful heap of blue and blood red their greatest enemy had become.

Juniper is just another Genshin Impact player, finishing up the Sumeru questline. He's been enjoying it, and already has some favorites. Admittedly, Juni's favorite Harbinger is Dottore. And he may or may not have started playing the game because of him.
But as they're finishing going through the final dialogue between Dottore and Nahida... the laptop begins glitching out. And Il Dottore, the second Fatui Harbinger, is suddenly in Juniper's bedroom.
When the shock settles, Juni is left with the stranded mad scientist, who has no interest in him. But he's sure he can at least keep him from causing any problems in the real world... right?Each chapter is a different story as these two navigate a slowly budding friendship, which becomes much deeper than either of them expected. And it's Il Dottore experiencing the real world, and what it means to be a person.
POV will shift between Juniper and Dottore, depending on the situation I put them in!
