Perhaps Crowley should be hit by a few more vehicles because it'll hurt less than seeing an Aziraphale that doesn't remember him. And why, oh why, must Crowley fall for this new/old person? Why can't his heart just let him be?! Why must this new person be so good, so familiar, so new, so him and so someone else?How can he explain the past without ruining this person's future? How can he leave when gravity pulls him back into the angel's orbit?

Whatever wild, crazy power surge took out ART's systems and my inorganics also apparently started a countdown for ART's self destruct sequence. Great.
Couldn't wait to drag my sorry ass to save both of our lives, though I had no idea how, and kick starting a ship like ART would probably kill me. Unless, you know, we blew up first. -

Summary
I should just expect that mining facilities suck. This one especially sucked for me personally because of that Combat SecUnit trying to kill me. Didn't help that it was nuts, too. At least my humans got out, because the statistical, historical chances of a SecUnit taking on a Combat SecUnit are 7%.
The alien remnant wasn't helping, either.

Heading back to Crowley's place after the Arma-didn't, Crowley comes up with a plan to save Aziraphale from Heaven's wrath. It's a plan Aziraphale will hate, but Crowley is determined to convince him.
After all, that's why Crowley is still around for, right? To repay the debt obtained during the first war. A debt Aziraphale doesn't even remember being owed.

I enjoy making that precious demon suffer. Each story is technically not related (unless stated as a sequel for a piece). I'm enjoying exploring suffering from different angles, so I hope you enjoy

Summary
My performance reliability dropped but the spike of fear upped my reaction time, and my body moved before I consciously realized that it wasn’t going to work.
I swung at TargetContact with my improvised club, but the force I put into the swing made my wrecked knee joint give out, and the blow only grazed it. I hit the floor again, and TargetContact was on top of me.
Turns out, I was right that this was going to be worse. I just had no idea exactly how much worse.
OR
Things go a lot worse for Murderbot at the end of Network Effect before they get better. This changes a good number of things, but maybe not anything that really matters. Like how far the people that love it are willing to go for its sake.
