Newly single (and a single father to boot) Stolas is in dire need of socialization and Vassago thinks he knows EXACTLY the thing that can help unwind the poor, stressed out owl. An up and coming imp band is playing in Pentagram City and Stolas HAD mentioned that one song Vassago was listening to that one time was good. So why not? The boys are going to a rock show!

I don't use Spotify, but my wonderful friend Chelle compiled a playlist of the songs from this fic! Thank you SO MUCH ♥

    Summary

After being bounded by that mad reverend. Abaddon remains in the mortal flesh of a child thats four feet tall! It's pathetic and embarrassing on his part. He used to be Abaddon of the Gerasenes, the destroyer, the beast of the pit!

Isaac— the priest's annoying spawn haunts him ever since. Always dragging him to do and say things. This chatterbox of an apparition never ceases to annoy the demon, but Abaddon tolerates him, humors him. There's no one else who stick with him for centuries, keep him company and comfort him.

Isaac is innocent and naive, stuck in time like a picture frame. The worst insult that whelp can think of is calling someone "mean".

It's such a shame that Isaac's only friend will forever be the demon who stole his body and killed his father.

    ---

Alternatively: the vessel is an apparition who haunts Abaddon but no one else can see him— not even other ghosts.

    Summary

When Abaddon looked in the mirror, he no longer saw a ten year old Puritan boy who wore the same, unwashed collard shirt everyday.

Now, the reflection that stared back was two feet taller, finally wearing something clean after learning how to wash his clothes, and attended high school with Esther in their senior year. Change could be good, and life hadn't been so rocky ever since Esther performed the ritual: one that bound the age of Abaddon’s vessel to the that of Esther’s.

The simple routine he had claimed to loathe: Abaddon had taken it all for granted.

A pair like Abaddon and Esther could only endure relative peace for so long, and soon Abaddon's entire world would come crashing down as he faces a decision that’s eerily similar to one of the past: friendship, or glory?

    Summary

Abaddon was born where memory met marrow—child of a fallen scribe who wrote agony into the wind and a keeper who carved beauty from bone. The abyss raised him in silence and obedience, teaching him to catalogue suffering, to turn remembrance into architecture. When the Fifth Ring cast him down, he fell through the world’s thin places and into a dying body, a child made vessel. Among mortals, he learned cruelty as devotion, despair as prayer. Yet within the ruin, something unfamiliar stirred—grief that reached toward mercy, love that defied the order of decay. And for the first time, the child of the abyss began to fear what it meant to feel.
