Danny wakes up inside his grave in the Gotham Cemetery. He's hurt, hungry, missing his fraid, and missing his haunt.
He already knows he can't go back to Amity Park. But what can he do? Who can he trust? He'd have to go into hiding--it would be a death sentence to let the Fentons or the GIW know that Phantom was in Gotham. But he still needs to fulfill his protection Obsession somehow.
Perhaps it was time for him to lean into old training.

Because these big city heroes don't know anything about ghosts and who is he if he doesn't help them out? Besides, the Watchtower is in space. Danny's always wanted to go to space...
