    Peter felt himself falling into the abyss, a faint panic creeping in. He let his eyelids close, surrendering to the darkness. His heartbeat slowed, and an eerie calmness washed over his thoughts. The last image that flickered through his mind was May’s lifeless eyes.

    He gets up slowly, turning towards the bot responsible for all of this, his optics once the purest gold now shone with the brightest red.

    Author didn't like the scene where D-16 willingly drops Orion, so they decide to rewrite the movie just enough that it changes everything.
