    Summary

    6 years after the first Kaiju attack on Earth, the Pan Pacific Defense Corps, known to most simply as the Jaeger program, is in a golden age. A group of Jaeger pilots heralded by the media as the Generation of Miracles seem to be turning the tide of the war. Then out of the blue, their most successful Jaeger, Cobalt Ace, goes down in a freak accident. Kagami Taiga, an American PPDC trainee, is transferred to the Tokyo Shatterdome.

    As it turns out, getting into the program was the easy part. Now Kagami has to reckon with the Drift. Aomine Daiki is not at all who he seemed to be. Given the mysterious disappearance of his former co-pilot, the red tape surrounding the incident itself – it’s clear that whatever went wrong on his last run poses a serious risk.

    Meanwhile, a stranger haunts the shatterdome, confined to the shadows. Kagami’s future, and maybe even the fate of the world rests on the program's success. They say there are no secrets in the drift, yet the ones surrounding the pilots of Cobalt Ace threaten to overturn Kagami’s entire reality.

    Will Kagami realize his lifelong dream of piloting a Jaeger and lead the world into the light beyond the encroaching darkness? With whom?

    “It was me.”

    Kaede’s blood chills. Words leave her, and her heart falls silent.

    Monokuma blinks. “Huh?” He along with the Monokubs, Kaede, and her classmates, all turn to the voice.

    “Sh-Shuichi...?!” whispers Kaede. “What are you—"

    “It was me,” Shuichi says again, shifting on the spot. “I did it. I uh... I killed Rantaro...”

    The library is silent for a few moments.

    Then all hell breaks loose.

    Shuichi claims the First Blood Perk in Kaede's place, and in doing so, changes the entire course of the Killing Game. Different choices are made, new dynamics form, and, as per the rules, only two survivors can emerge from the world stained red with reality, and pink with delusion.

    The Luckey Cafe was a speciality even amongst travelling coffeeshops. One day, nothing, a vacant lot on the edge of town. The next, a full sized two-story building.
    It would appear at the corner of a town, typically close to a Wizards Guildhall, and stick around for weeks at a time, before just disappearing in the night. Anyone out and about close to the building says they just blinked and it was gone, nothing but the exceptionally well branded travel cups in their hands to convince them that it had been there at all.
    Nobody knew where it went, or where it came from. Nor did anyone know where to expect it.
    When The Luckey Cafe settled somewhere, it was never wanting for customers, people of all scenes lining up for a chance to see the almost mythical cafe before it disappeared again.
    So when it landed in Magnolia, well.
    Chaos could only follow in its wake.
