The farmer’s a pretty girl, but she doesn’t take well to second chances. She’s nice enough to his grandparents, but she always keeps her distance around Alex. And it’s a shame really, because he kind of wants another chance. When he sees her laughing with Harvey or Maru or Penny, the laugh seems to escape from her, like she did her best and couldn't keep it in. If she ever gets a glimpse of him, she stops. It’d almost be funny if it didn’t tick him off so much.
