Part IV - Technically canon compliant, Huntr/x explicitly as soulmates.
Part V - Canon divergence, Mira and Zoey remembering moments they had with Rumi after her death.

Summary
When Hornet was still young and naive, she would spend hours teaching herself sign language so she could teach the Hollow Knight sign language. In the midst of the rising infection, the secret relationship she had with her not so emotionless sibling was the only bit of catharsis she had.
Years later, Hornet never expected to do this once again. With a new spark of hope, she teaches the Ghost of Hallownest sign language, just like all those years ago.
