Summary
Rhiannon Lovegood has just turned fourteen and is going to the Quidditch World Cup with her family friends, the Diggorys. Life is grand, until she gets forced together with her sort-of enemy, Ron Weasley. This occurs throughout the whole year, and though Rhiannon doesn't like to think of him as an enemy, he's quite snarky and rude to her and obviously doesn't enjoy her company. She tries her best to be nice with him, but it's almost like he doesn't want her kindness.
Ron Weasley doesn't like the Lovegoods all that much. Luna is odd, that much is to be said; Xenophilius is off-putting; and Rhiannon might be the worst of them all. He really has no reasons for disliking her, just that she's so annoyingly smart and kind and even when he's rude to her, she doesn't stop. It's not possible for someone to be so nice all the time! Ron constantly tries to make her mad, but still, she never is.
When the two of them find themselves in danger, time and time again they save each other, without really knowing why. They are each other's weaknesses, and it is a fact they are forced to confront.
