In the end, he was selfish enough to choose his duty over the one he so cherished. He supposed he wasn't desperate enough for Elder Faerie, not like the other was for him. He wasn't desperate enough to try to redeem himself for the sake of the other. He wasn't desperate enough to keep the other in his life. He wasn't desperate enough to think about anything other than his duty for the cookie he had loved.

For a moment, he could pretend he was the Salt of Solidarity again, the one who Elder Faerie had stood with at all times, the better part of himself before... Not Silent Salt, not the one who was known to be the villain in his own story, not the one who had massacred all those broken and downtrodden by circumstances because of his anger towards them, betraying those who had protected them, not the one who had lost his very Virtue.

In the quaint little Town of Salem in the (vaguely accurate) 17th century lives Dexter Morgan, a psychotic Serial Killer masquerading as a Doctor. Amidst a panic of warring factions, he and his Arsonist Lover, Buggs Burns, are determined to come out on top by any means necessary.
(In other words, a POV alternating adventure following a vengeful serial killer and his adorable pyromaniac boyfriend as they set out to massacre the Town.)
