Just as the cultivator was about to run, the noises suddenly came to a halt with a thud, accompanied with the crunch of grass as whatever that thing was presumably fell to the ground. It stopped!
Having this chance, Shen Yuan immediately jumped out and sprinted away, looking back for good measure. But as he did, his face instantly paled and he stopped in his tracks.
