A lot of things have changed in the interim, and they find that their relationship has changed quite a bit. After spending time together, they find that it may continue to change and develop into something neither of them could have ever anticipated.

“Hi, Eraserhead.” Shouto greets. Naturally just his knowledge of the underground hero’s name raises suspicion. He knows a lot of other things too.
It’s not safe up on the rooftops. Go home. Shouto recites in his head.
“It’s not safe up on the rooftops. Go home.” Eraserhead says. He worries, every time. Shouto has learnt to sit down before he gets there, so that he doesn’t look like he’s about to jump. But a kid sitting alone on a rooftop still isn’t normal. Not that Shouto ever was.

Shouto makes a deal with the devil, to escape from the future his father had mapped out for him. It doesn’t take long for him to realise that being forgotten by everyone is not a blessing, but a curse.
