Summary
You are a SHIELD agent that's been working for New Asgard when someone steals a powerful potion and is about to sell it on the black market at an auction in Bucharest. You and Loki are tasked with finding the potion and bringing it back to New Asgard before anyone tries to replicate it, but since the auction's in Bucharest, SHIELD lends you Sergeant James "Bucky" Barnes to assist with its safe recovery. There are just two tiny problems:
1) The potion is actually a love potion, and anyone who touches it or drinks it will instantly fall in love and want to fuck.
2) Bucky and Loki absolutely despise each other, with each man separately carrying a little torch for you.
It'll be a miracle if this mission is a success instead of an unholy hot mess. Bucky/Reader/Loki AU.

“You didn’t come home last night,” Athena points out, sipping at what appears to be coffee as Buck makes his way out onto the balcony. “I take it things went well?”
Buck winces, taking a seat opposite her at the table. “So… I might have chickened out on the whole ‘telling Eddie I’m in love with him’ thing.”
“Buck…”
“I know, I know,” he mumbles, burying his face in his hands.
“And here I was thinking you’d spent the night in his bed when you weren’t home by eleven.”
Buck slowly lifts his head. “Well…”
Athena snorts. “You’re kidding.”
“Friends can share a bed,” Buck says in an attempt to justify the situation. “Eddie and I shared a bed in quarantine, it’s not weird.”

Buck chews on his lip. “A little?”
That’s gotta be an understatement. If Eddie was about to take his dick out in front of a stranger and have them shove a hollow needle through its skin he’d be sweating his balls off. But hey, Buck has always been the braver one between the two of them, wasn't he? The risk taker. The “crazy” one.
“I think you got nothing to worry about,” Eddie reassures him like the good friend he is, even though he’s just as nervous. It’s practically his job to reassure Buck, to hold his hand through it because for some reason Buck is determined to do this. “I did some research. The place you picked is pretty legit, and a frenum piercing is a pretty safe choice as far as genital piercings go.”
Buck turns to him with widened blue eyes. “You actually looked into it?”
“No, I’m just accompanying you ‘cause I wanna see your dick.”

It's only when Eddie's touching Buck that he feels alive again.

Buck can’t tell if Eddie is asleep on the couch. He’s tempted to go look, to see if he can find the catlike gleam of Eddie’s eyes in the shadows and know he’s not the only one still reeling—not just from Bobby’s death, but from that argument in the kitchen. Buck knows what he would have done in the past, were Eddie alone in his grief. Were it not Bobby who had died but someone Buck only tangentially knew, or hardly knew at all. He’d have cracked the shell Eddie always builds around himself, made Eddie talk about his feelings. Demanded to be let in and allowed to carry some of the load.
But they’re still standing at opposite ends of this damn tunnel. He doesn’t know how to meet in the middle, where the dark is thick with things they can’t say.
There’s a shift from the couch, a creak of leather. Then silence.
Buck steps into his bedroom but leaves the door cracked open, as he’s taken to doing since Eddie came back from El Paso. It’s an unspoken invitation he doesn’t actually expect Eddie to take. Before, because that’s not what they do. Now, because Buck can’t be what Eddie needs him to be right now.

The hottest man Eddie has ever seen has just entered the backyard. He’s a couple of inches taller than Eddie, probably around 6 foot 2. He’s got arms that could crush a watermelon without even trying. Long legs that stretch for miles. A mop of curls sits on the top of his head. The bluest of eyes accentuated by a pink birthmark above his eyebrow and the brightest of smiles, dimples peeking through.
Eddie has seen attractive men before. He has lusted after men before. Eddie has never wanted to jump someone’s bones as quickly as this guy.
