Summary
After the fall, Hannibal and Will are in hiding, but despite their forced confinement and close quarters, Will’s forts hold firm in the face of trying to make sense of everything that’s happened. Hannibal desperately wants to connect again so he invents a series of personas to use to interact with Will. He's curious as to what will happen.
Does the empath ever come to want Hannibal as he truly is, has he all along, or is it just these masks he’s contrived?
