Last read chapter 10This is one of my absolute favorite fics. A super interesting exploration of Hank and Connor's relationship in this slight au. How it developed, Connor's evolving understanding of how the world works. Hank slowly learning the depths of the mistreatment of Connor. It's so freaking good.
(It's the one where Amanda is physically abusive. Connor has the "correct stance" where he looks down and holds hands behind his back. He was taught that humans are inherently superior to him, and the stance demonstrates this)
