Summary
Over a decade has passed since Kira's reign began. Criminals. Scum. Lowlives. All dead with just a wave of a pen and a black notebook. Such things had long since become the norm for this world.
So what happens when the Phantom Thieves are born? When Kurusu Akira, an orphan-turned-criminal, steps onto Kira's playing field with the intent to take him down? Not only that, it seems as if there's others who came to play. Successors born to serve as doubles for a dead man. Rebels who would destroy any rival who would get in their way. And of course, monsters who should be dead and buried…
Akira was never chosen to succeed the World's Greatest Detective, but she was going to make herself Kira's biggest problem.

Summary
Trunks landed a little too far in the past.
'Landed' doesn't accurately describe the situation he found himself in. Trunks was brought back too far in the past thanks to a certain wish.
A certain wish made by the teen scientist Bulma Briefs, no less. A wish he didn't really want to get into, either.
Thanks to this wishful thinking, Trunks had no time machine to get back home, a body that wasn't the one he was supposed to have, with said body feeling like it had died. And all of that came without the power he once had.
And on top of that? He had a whole mess of problems all tied together by a red ribbon.
He arrived in the Year 749, just eight months before the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai.

A very good fic that has a deep look into Sae's thoughts and character. Strong narration and visual imagery. A great highlight is the exploration of Sae and Makoto's relationship.

Summary
An alternative story to the original anime/manga series "Death Note." Light Yagami is a 24-year-old man who works hard at an office in Tokyo in order to stay afloat. His disillusionment with capitalism and his disdain for those who don't work as hard as he does has led him down a path of bitterness, causing him to resent the less fortunate. That's when he finds the Job Note: a mysterious black binder filled with job applications. Any person's name he writes in an application will be employed at whatever place he chooses. Originally skeptical of the Job Note's power, Light ultimately chooses to use it in the way he sees fit. To stop homelessness by forcing the lazy and unemployed into jobs against their will. To him, this is the only way to fix his world.
