Summary
In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the scene towards the end where Tony and Thor destroy the hunk of land crashing to the Earth caught my attention because the last we see of Thor is him sinking into the ocean. Then, he's up and walking and talking like nothing happened. Not on my watch. This is a bit of the in-between.

A part of him relished the pain. Lived in it, fed off it. It made it so much easier to ignore the howling abyss inside him. After the Riddler's flooding of Gotham, Bruce crawls back to his broken home as an equally broken man. He knows he must become stronger, different, better. That he must rebuild what it means to be the Batman.
But all broken things must heal first.Set after The Batman (2022) movie. Hurt/comfort, with Alfred taking care of Bruce.
