Summary
Hermione felt like the wind had been knocked out of her. She must have misheard Professor Dumbledore.
“I’m sorry, sir, you want me to do what?” She asked incredulously, her gaze shifting between Dumbledore and Snape. The potions professor stared back at her with a sneer, his black eyes boring into hers.
“It is in the Order’s best interest to acquire more eyes within Lord Voldemort’s ranks, Miss Granger,” Dumbledore repeated. “It’s your choice to accept.”
“And you want me to do that by–”
“Obviously this was a mistake, headmaster,” Snape finally interrupted. “It’s clear that Miss Granger neither has the desire nor the ability to complete what we have just asked of her. This meeting has just been a waste of our time.”
Fury rose within her. How dare he doubt her abilities? She would be a successful asset to the Order of the Phoenix, Severus Snape be-damned.
“I’ll do it,” she said with finality, glaring back at Snape.
She could do this, she could make Draco fall in love with her in one form or another.

Never again.
He was never drinking that much again.
He found himself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room, and—by the breathing next to him—with an unfamiliar witch.
As a spy, Severus Snape wasn’t one to overindulge, but for some blasted reason he found himself apparently still at Grimmauld place after making his obligatory appearance at the Order Christmas party.
He slowly rolled to his side to see who had the unfortunate pleasure of sharing this bed with him.
His eyes found a witch, clearly naked and wrapped in the duvet, her back turned to him, her mass of dark hair was strewn over the pillow. As he watched the movements of her breaths she rolled over with a sleepy sigh, her face relaxed in blissful sleep – the sight made Severus’ blood run cold.

Summary
Hermione may have pushed Sirius a little too far when she brings his baby cousin into conversation:
“You better be careful,” Hermione replied with a mischievous smirk of her own. “I might leave you for Draco and all of his galleons.”
The room went utterly silent and Sirius was on her in an instant. He pinned her against the wall caging her between her arms. His storm-grey eyes went almost completely black as his face took on a wolfish look.
“You want my prissy little cousin, do you witch?” He growled as he leant into her. “You really think for all of his galleons, that little blonde prick can pleasure you the way I can?”

The skin of his face still stung from the force of her slap. How dare she even touch him filthy mudblood. He pressed his hand to his cheek feeling the heat from the blood pooled there. He’d never seen her so impassioned, not that he’d ever noticed – it wasn’t like that.

In a misguided attempt at house unity after the war, Hogwarts has decided to start doing a student exchange program between the houses. For the pilot of this program, one male and one female student from each house will spend the Fall Term in a different house to experience new things and better understand their fellow students.
