Summary
After losing a patient previously, House finds himself on the receiving end of the father's (of the patient) revenge. Cue Knight in Shining Armour; James Wilson. House becomes the patient. As Wilson "patches him up" (I don't think it is that accurate tbh, I tried), House relives pain in more ways than one. Will he finally open up? What will his team think? As he is being medically examined, and "healed", one questions still lingers- and always will. Did he really do everything he could, or was this death, like many others, inevitable?

This is much shorter than the usual fanfic drafts i write up when I'm bored(I wrote 20 pages in math class and it is..something), instead i decided to write it off a reddit prompt: the letter "G" so obviously I picked the first choice which was grief. Mentally doing great : D
Basically this is the scene of after Sherlock talks to the suicidal imaginary-or perhaps not- ginger lady who was the daughter of the killer.
This is where he is by the railing of some street or bridge and is on drugs, was on drugs and like usual has very poor mental health. (suicidal) and has a lil mental breakdown in a nutshell. There might be some in discrepancies, and some details misplaced or not added, I'm pretty sure some of the timeline might be a bit wonky but anyway. Enjoy! -

(features angsty Bucky, 'no witnesses' Winter Soldier, ass whoopin' Wilson, sedentary senior Steve AND scrawny Steve, indispensable Red Wing*, with much hurt/comfort (of Bucky, not Red Wing), and yes, a major character death. But not the one you're thinking of. Lots of bad guys and not so bad people bite it too, but you can blame the Winter Soldier for that... or just admire his hair, up to you)
