"The idea awakes a kind of repulse that Eddie had never tasted before. Like he said, everything that he knows about Steve Harrington is against his own will. The dude's an asshole, just another fancy pants that lies to girls and makes hell of the lives of people like Eddie.
However, the repulse soon burns into a glorious smell, leveling up his ego and making him see the situation differently. If he appears dating the Steve Harrington, his name will be a hot topic until the day of the fucking Snow Ball.
It will be stupid, revolutionary and frightening, his top three favorite words. And, as a bonus, he will still have Corroded on a real stage with a real public. Dustin threw the dice with bravery. Victory was on Harrington's pretty hand. All that Eddie had to do was hold it."

Summary
Steve hated it. Hated how Nancy used him, cheated on him with Jonathan Byers, how she spread the news about him being an only male Omega in their school and making him look like a fool to everyone. He was just tired of it but when the kids came to him for help with the Demogorgon and protecting them, it changes him. Now all he wants to do is protect his five pups from the Upside Down world but when his pups want to become friends with another making him meet an alpha that is a bit of an asshole but was trying to change.
Or
Where Billy isn't much an asshole towards Steve, the kids, and his sister but is towards everyone else and that he protects the kids, and Steve from the Demodogs when they attack the Byers house instead of fighting Steve.
