The house is pretty secluded, there's no service, no internet, no way to reach other people aside from the landline in the living-room.
Ideal conditions, by her standards, as those theoretically should allow her to be perfectly alone.

*Note: previously titled "Wandless" - I changed the name because there were a ton of other Dramione fics with the same title, and I thought I might be making it harder to find any of us. I'd originally thought to use this title anyway, so I'm going back to my original thought. Hope it makes things easier and not harder!

Born with a form of magic unseen in the wizarding world for centuries, Draco Malfoy's very existence is illegal according to ancient wizarding law. That same law says he should have been killed at birth, but Lucius had other ideas.
Hermione Granger always thought Malfoy didn't really add up. She heard the rumors about him, about how he supposedly suffered from some rare illness as a child and was never seen until he appeared at Hogwarts as a first year. By sixth year, the contradictions strike her as even more obvious, but her best friends only see him as a possible death eater, one likely infiltrating the school on some dark mission from Voldemort.
