Link Wilde was the perfect student at Hyrule High: straight A's, an exceptional athlete excelling in everything from fencing to archery, and, most importantly, a world-famous idol. He was the brightest star anyone had ever seen. To everyone, he seemed flawless, the very embodiment of perfection. His every move, every smile, every word of affection was admired and envied by those around him.
"The forever C position" and "The genius idol"—those were the titles everyone gave him.
But there was more to Link Wilde than met the eye. His admirers and even his casual acquaintances failed to recognize the truth behind his perfect smile and the charming "I love you"s that flowed so effortlessly from his lips, both on stage and off. Beneath the polished exterior and the adulation, there was a hidden layer of sadness. No one saw through the glittering facade; no one noticed the fleeting moments of sadness in his eyes, the subtle cracks in his otherwise impeccable demeanor. And yet, that was just the surface.
