Summary
Ethan and Maverick are twins in this one.
All works are part of the same universe, and do tie into each other somewhat, but shouldn’t be too hard to read stand-alone if that’s what you want to do.
Fudged the M:I timeline to work with my purposesM:1 now takes place in 86 instead of 96, which makes Ethan even more of a baby than he already was in that movie. So you can just move all the Mission: Impossible movies forward by 10 years.
