Fashion student Marinette has just landed a placement working for her dream company, the Gabriel brand, but soon discovers how cutthroat a workplace it is. Perhaps someone higher up will take a chance on an eager-to-please newcomer's designs. In the meantime, Marinette makes ends meet through her YouTube channel where she makes vlogs on her various personal projects under the alias of Ladybug. What she doesn't know is that her boss's son is secretly her biggest fan.

Adrien smiles as he eats breakfast with Nathalie, smiles as he walks through the halls of his new lycée, smiles as people stop him on the street and tell him time and time again what a "hero" his father was.
(Adrien wishes he could've been a hero, too. He should've been. Maybe then his father would still be alive.)
